Turning Point
Turning Point is a youth ministry designed for young people to connect with God and with others. We are a brand new ministry that is really excited about what God is doing. Our vision is to see young people "turn" into what God has called them to be. We want our teens to be challenged in a way that will change their lives. We understand that being a teenager can be very difficult, especially when you add in living a pure and holy life. There are more and more peer pressures that young people are facing today. The leadership at turning point desires to come beside every young person to see them succeed in developing their walk with God. We meet on Friday night's at 7:00. Come check us out!

Our "Land of a Thousand Hills" coffee night is this Sunday, January 31st @ 7pm. We are drinking coffee with a story, eating an assortment of desserts, and enjoying the company of friends & some relaxing entertainment. There will be a short video describing their organization, a few people giving stories and showing pictures of their trips to Rwanda, and a dance from some of our youth. We will also be selling bags of coffee and t-shirts as well as taking an offering to help support their vision. Come out and experience Land of a Thousand Hills.

There is NO Turning Point Friday the 8th. We will be going on our Winter Retreat at Tuscarora. We are back on for the 15th where we begin our new series "New Friend Request".

The Turning Point Christmas Party will be on Friday the 18th. We will have a short, relevant Christmas story message followed by food, games, prize giveaways and a gift exchange. Bring a friend! This will be an awesome time to bring someone who normally wouldn't come to church.

Reminder: There is NO Turning Point this Friday (The 27th). Alan Ross is here and we are going to be joining with the rest of the church and a bunch of other people to be a part of that service. If you have never encountered God in a real way and desire to, be there! This guy hears from God and is the real deal. We will be back to our normal schedule the following week to continue the series iPray.

We are all set up to go to the Winter Wonder Slam Tour with Reliant K and Toby Mac. The date is November 20 at 7:30 pm in the city. We will be taking the train in Friday about 5:30-6 and will walk about 10 minutes to the Hammerstein Ballroom. If you are interested in going contact Josh.

We are going to be working with Hope for the Future, an organization that helps feed the homeless in NYC. We will be joining their team on Saturday November 7th.
