Kid's Ministry
Nursery-
Our nursery is located at the back of the sanctuary. From there, moms and dads can observe the service through the large glass window while at the same time tend to the needs of their newborns in privacy. An adjustable speaker allows them to hear the service.
Toddlers-
We have 2 special rooms, across the hall from each other, set aside for toddlers. One room is for children up to 2. This room has a large flat-screen TV with a live video feed from the sanctuary, so that parents can enjoy the service while their children play. The other has a large screen TV, toys and even a fort! Our teachers take children ages 2-4 there every Sunday during the sermon. Bible lessons are taught, and snacks are provided.
Children’s Church-
Kids ages 5-10 have their own time together, also after the worship. Our staff leads them in Bible stories, crafts and other activities that make learning about God understandable and fun.
Daughters of Praise-
Girls ages 3-12 meet every Friday night to learn Tambourine and dance moves in a lively setting. They also work on crafts, and learn Bible verses and stories.
Royal Rangers-
Royal Rangers meets every Friday night (see Events for dates and times). Rangers is a camping/ activities based program along the lines of the Boy Scouts, but with an emphasis on “reaching, teaching and keeping boys for Christ”. Boy's ages 3-12 are invited. Special Events-
Throughout the year, many activities are planned. Included are:
· Trips to the ball field
· Swim parties
· “Family fun day” at The Refuge (giant inflatables, BBQ, prizes, etc.)
· “Church on the Beach”
